Amazon Advertising
Helping BrewDog reclaim its brand, pricing and revenue across Amazon UK and Germany
THE BRIEF

THE BRIEF

BrewDog had no direct presence on Amazon and it was costing them. Unauthorised resellers had filled the gap, misrepresenting the brand, undercutting pricing and eroding the brand values that BrewDog had spent years building. The largest ecommerce platform in the UK and Germany was generating revenue for everyone except BrewDog.
This was not simply a case of launching a new channel. It required reclaiming brand control, establishing the right commercial and operational structure from scratch, and then building an advertising and content strategy capable of competing in a crowded category - in two markets simultaneously.

The process
Challenge
BrewDog's Amazon problem was a brand problem as much as a commercial one. Resellers operating without authorisation were damaging brand presentation and undermining pricing integrity across both the UK and German marketplaces. With no Brand Registry in place and no direct seller presence, BrewDog had no mechanism to protect its IP, control its listings or capture the significant demand that clearly existed for its products on the platform.
Goal
To establish BrewDog as the authoritative, brand-controlled presence on Amazon in both the UK and Germany - protecting brand IP, building a commercial infrastructure capable of scaling, and driving revenue growth through a full-funnel advertising and content strategy that reflected the brand properly.
Solution
Vector built BrewDog's Amazon presence from the ground up. The first priority was structure: establishing a Fulfilment by Amazon seller model, securing full Brand Registry and setting up the product portfolio correctly across both markets. Getting the operational foundation right was non-negotiable before any advertising investment could deliver returns. With the platform set up correctly, we turned to content. Every listing was built to a 10/10 content score - SEO-optimised product detail pages, A+ content and brand store that reflected BrewDog's voice and positioning accurately for the first time on the platform. From there, an iterative Amazon Ads strategy drove discovery and conversion, building sales velocity that compounded into organic rank and category presence. The result was a flywheel that worked.
